Here are some frequently asked questions answered. This page is for if you are curious about these questions too. Have any specific ones you want to ask me? Go to my contact page to see how to ask me.

How do you afford to travel?

I definitely work to afford it. Everywhere I choose to go to is under my own expenses, for the most part. I’m a full-time marketer and I do side jobs to help me afford the travels. I also do not travel as often as some nomads do or haven’t traveled abroad as much (yet) – I traveled 21+ states, 5 countries, and 9 national parks and hiked 85+ trails only within a span of 5 years. It’s not a marathon or number count at all, but I’ve read about more people going to more in that time frame. You can make a lot of content around those few places though, depending on how much you explore.

I explain in this blog post how I’ve sacrificed things to afford these trips because that helps me save more. Also, I go on so many road trips, more so than I fly out, and is one of the easiest ways to get around from state to state. Check out this post to see how doing road trips can help you save money. I love exploring so much that it’s definitely a lifestyle for me so I’ll prioritize it over other leisures.

How do you choose which place to go to?

I explain it all in this blog post.

Are you the only one who helps with this blog?

Yes sir/ma’am. This is a one-woman show (hence the blog name). In the future whenever I’ll marry and have my own spouse, then I’m sure they would be part of the team to help me, but for now, it’s just me. Even when the spouse somehow wants to stumble upon my life, I have no plans of changing the blog name. So yeah, currently, I run all the social media including my own videos on YouTube. I write all my blog posts. It’s a lot of hard work but I try to make it work.

I take most of my own photos, but I will ask whoever I’m with to take pictures of me on my camera/phone. And speaking of whom I’m with, regardless of how my blog name sounds, I don’t always travel solo. I mainly do on my hikes though. I’m usually with family or friends.

Can I write a guest blog post here? / Can you promote my company through a blog post?

I got so many emails on this. Unfortunately, I am currently not accepting guest submissions. That may change in the future, but right now, I enjoy just putting out my own content. I do not accept all companies to be promoted through a blog post – if I do, it has to fit within my niche. You can see if you fit and what I can do to help you promote your company through my Work With Me page.

I have a question about a specific location.

Please contact me directly about it or please comment below on a blog post. For quicker responses, I will reply back to your blog comment.

What do you use to take your photos?

I use my iPhone a lottt. I used my iPhone 6 in my much older posts and for my much recent ones, I use my iPhone 11. The iPhone 11 is quite impressive in capturing great pics of wherever I go, so I continue to use it. I used to use my Canon EOS Rebel SL DSLR a lot for higher quality pics than my iPhone 6 lol. I now use my Sony A7 for more recent pics.

You look so young.

Okay I know this isn’t a question but I get told this a lot. Yes, I do look young! Runs in my genes and I’m not that bothered that I do because I’ll age like fine wine. I am in my mid-20’s. I do consider myself still young BUT young or old, I will continue to work for my blog and to do what I love to do. 🙂
