It’s ⚾️spring training season⚾️ here in It’s ⚾️spring training season⚾️ here in Arizona!! If you don’t know what that is, it’s basically a preseason of the Major League Baseball which includes a series of practice games before the regular season comes. It started back in 1886!

And you can watch these games if you go to MLB.com or download their “MLB Ballpark” app! There are numerous stadiums around Arizona. Make sure to bring your friends!!

Thank you to @visit_arizona for giving my friends and boyfriend the chance to watch a game 🙂 We enjoyed watching @sfgiants vs. @rangers.

No matter what you choose, it’s going to turn out wonderful and it will smell soooo good! My fragrance oil smelled way better the next day. This place is SUPER fun in making your own creations and spending time with your date!

This was not sponsored by Candle Chemistry at all! We always wanted to try this experience. 😄 Also recommend @creamistry for their liquid nitrogen ice cream!!

One of my favorite memories thus far in this year: One of my favorite memories thus far in this year: Polar plunging in the East Verde River isn’t something everyone should do but I chose to because I just loveee cold water❄️

(I don’t recommend just anyone to do it, only people who had trained themselves to get used to cold water.)

….So farrr this year has been a blast. I’ve been spending lots of time with friends, friends who accept my craziness, humor, and charitable personality. This is the year I feel seen. The year I show who I unapologetically am. In fact, this year is probably the most confident I’ve been in my WHOLE life. I’m excited for more adventures to come in 2023!

HAPPY 111th BIRTHDAY to my state of #Arizona! 🏜 HAPPY 111th BIRTHDAY to my state of #Arizona! 🏜️ Oh man, where do I start… I first came to visit back in 2016 on a family vacation to finally see my aunts’ and cousins’ home. At first sight, I fell in LoOOOveee. (I’m also aware today is #ValentinesDay.) So then after graduating college and feeling ready to take the leap to start anew, I made Arizona my home. I’ve been on countless adventures and most of my most drastic growth occurred here. I ALWAYS wanted to live in the west coast since I was like 7, a girl who grew up in Jersey.

If you look back on my old posts here or my blog posts, I talk a lot about what my growth was — just addressing important things about ourselves. I’ve hit multiple quarter life crises. These formative years were so essential to my development and there’s no way I can see myself go through them than any other place but here in Arizona. Sure it gets ridiculously hot in the summer, but the rest of the year is pure gold. The wild animals we have, the wild landscapes, the brightest and the boldest and the most colorful sunsets, the friendly locals, the clearest night skies, and the cacti and cacti blooms are some of Arizona’s most best things.

But I can go on. All I know is it was meant to be and I was meant to explore AZ’s gems. And imma keep going…🌞

These past few days were spent visiting the elevat These past few days were spent visiting the elevated city of Strawberry in Arizona (and returning to Payson). And it was dang unforgettable. It’s almost unreal to me how these cities are less than 2 hours from me.

I def needed to experience winter in this state again. To bond with people whom want nothing but to share good and real times with you. To remind me how to adventure (especially when I was a kid.) I haven’t had sleepovers since college days and now I remember how fun (and sometimes necessary) they are. Maintaining your playfulness as an adult is so so important!!!❄️✨✨ Thank you to my friend Becky for making it happen:)

There’s a saying I came across that went somethi There’s a saying I came across that went something like “There are people you haven’t met yet that will love you.” I love this a lot because it gives me the reminder that no matter who has left you in your life (whether intentionally or not) or hasn’t been there for you enough and if you ever feel the weight of that pain, look at the emerging beginnings for you. There ARE people who you haven’t met yet who can love you so much and more. You have so much more to offer in terms of your light and love and these people will count themselves so lucky for having to experience you and even to the depths that you may show, through trust and through reciprocity.

I know we probably have experienced so much in the last year with loss and grief. As I have. Those can close you off and get you questioning “what is the point of love if you can lose ‘em?” As much as I love being by myself, I thrive off the close relationships in my life equally, while not ever neglecting my own relationship with myself.

But when things in life get to the hardest points, remind yourself you will not be left behind because you’ll most likely spark a new motivation to prove those hard points. And it’s through the new people and experiences that have yet to show up in your life, if you are willing to receive.

I may have been talking about grief lately and openly through here and my blog, but my dad’s loss has really bought me to greater understanding of how important loving people are and how important it is to be there for them. My #grief forever changed the person I am, as it will for all of us who have experienced similar great loss.
It was an amazing way to end the year in #Nevada!! It was an amazing way to end the year in #Nevada!!! 💙🦋 I guess I can get used to coming “home” here. Thankful to have spent the last days of 2022 with my mom. My mom is the strongest woman I’ll ever know and she deserves the world 🌎.

I never thought about spending the holidays out here as I used to not like #LasVegas, but I’m so glad I got a different perspective of it now that I’ve gotten older. 🙂 Las Vegas is pretty epic and I know there’s sooo much more to explore in this state in general!

And with that, HAPPY 2023!! ✨✨✨

Since it’s that time to recap the year…. 2022 was a veryyy mixed year for me. It had some amazing adventures but probably the hardest trials I had to go through in MY life, with anxiety and depression. I don’t think it’s the worst year of my life even though I lost the closest person in my life because those last years spent with my dad were some of the most beautiful memories of my life especially when it came to travel memories. This loss heightened my understanding how life is NOT to be wasted!! So go for whatever will make you happy and take your dang chances.

2022 made me rethink about how passionate I am in everything I do and to NOT quit. Everything I do in my life I put 100-110% of my effort but it’s so easy to think it won’t pay back, but little by little- it will! I’ve also committed to major life changes this year.. moved to a new city but still in Arizona🌵.

I can write this longer but I already wrote my thoughts in a blog post lol. So lastly, I learned laughing is probably by far the best medicine in life (aside from spending time outdoors). I can see jokes and laughs may be more healing than we think it is!! So it’s important to experience that as much as we can in life!

I will remember that nature, writing, my faith, and being able to have shared company with the sweetest & funnest people are the key points in my life that I go back to, over and over again. That’s how I make sure each year won’t disappoint.

HAPPY 2023✨✨✨ I KNOW THIS YEAR’S GONNA BE GREAT FOR MANY OF US and full of GOING FOR MORE DREAMS.

Hope everyone’s #Christmas was amazing!! 🎄 I Hope everyone’s #Christmas was amazing!! 🎄 I don’t know about y’all, but we’re still celebrating the holidays and admiring all the decorations even after. 😬 WINTER FESTIVITIES DONT STOP.

This Christmas season has been a blast. There were parties, festive music to hear, gift exchanges, so much wonderful food to eat, many games to be played, laughs shared, so many nativities to admire, so many bonfires and so many hot cocoa drinks sipped.

But my favorite was coming here to #LasVegas while visiting my mom out here where she recently moved to. Last night we saw the detailed and epic Christmas Display that @bellagio went amazingly far and beyond for!

The outdoors was my place to feel the peace, but i The outdoors was my place to feel the peace, but it seemed like it’s been hard to feel the peace I once connected with when #grief took place. In spite of having to deal with grief, I still try. I still try to remind myself what I loved and what my dad knew I loved so much.

Apparently, it may be normal to lose interest of what you once loved, your hobbies and anything else once you experience a huge loss.

I made promises to him that this is what I’ve put into for years, sharing my adventures to help others find adventure in their own lives.

While I’ve kept talking about the geological history or history of places I go to, I also love to talk about how to survive when life doesn’t go as planned. And I know if I can continue to bring in content that focuses on working on our wellnesses and connecting it with travel/the outdoors, this will direct a purpose, not just for me but to see others rejoice in the fact they’re not alone.

Whoa…I haven’t posted in a month! Been busy ad Whoa…I haven’t posted in a month! Been busy adjusting to moving to my new city in Mesa here in Arizona. 🌵 And took the time to focus on these new changes/major transitions.

Here’s an apartment tour of where I’m currently living in. Such a cozy place and pretty much my office space too lol.

Had to record the process of me setting things up and adjusting to this new place. Tbh, I said yes to this place when I only just saw it through FaceTime without visiting it in person when it was listed in a LDS YSA Housing FB group. Risky? A bit. But it turned to be a great choice! 😂

And here’s something I def learned in my life: Never say never.

Happy #NationalTakeAHikeDay!! 🥾 I loved this pe Happy #NationalTakeAHikeDay!! 🥾 I loved this peaceful short trail in #JuneauAlaska!! It’s literally by Mendenhall Glacier’s visitor center and you can hike this before you get on well-known Nugget Falls Trail. There’s a $5 permit to get on this. It’s sooo green in the summer, and might be pretty cool in the cloudy/foggy weather too!!

Steep Creek’s waters are the life to salmon eggs as it brings oxygen as they’re buried in the gravel bed of the stream. These young salmon then migrate to Mendenhall Lake and after 1-3 years, they undergo physical changes to go live in saltwater where they then migrate to the sea.
