Travel Essentials To Pack For Your Next Trip

When it comes to packing up for vacations, it might honestly seem like a hassle. I admit, sometimes, I am that type of person who packs last minute (I’ve been doing this almost for as long as I’ve been traveling!! When I was younger, my mom used to bug me about packing up because I didn’t like doing so haha) and I don’t recommend you do it because you’ll instantly almost feel like you’re rushing yourself. What I do now is write down a list of things, the “travel essentials”, that I need to keep in mind of packing and bringing.

Thank God for some of my helpful “tools” that I own, I am able to pack my things efficiently and accordingly. I like to make sure my items are safe when they’re being carried around in my luggage or backpack so it can prevent my items from getting damaged and I like things that will make my traveling journey feel at ease.

Here are some really important and convenient things that will keep your travel items together:

Jewelry roll-up travel organizer

Ladies, this one is for you. Don’t we all mostly love our jewelry? But we all know hard is it to put your jewelry together when you know you can’t fit your jewelry box in your luggage. Forget the bulkiness. That’s why they made jewelry roll up travel organizers. They’re useful to put in any of your jewelry in any of its zip-able compartments and what’s awesome is how you can hang it up on a door with it’s hanger. Not only can you just use this for your jewelry, you can also put your toiletries in there like soap, shampoo, and deodorant and your makeup. The one shown above is exactly what I own and I love it!

Travel shoe bags

Carrying shoes in your luggage is probably the trickiest because you don’t want to dirty up your clothes with the soles of your shoes. You might think about just throwing them inside plastic bags but these travel shoe bags meant to store your shoes inside of them are great. They’re water repellent, incase a spill happens, they will keep your shoes in good condition, and they will keep your shoes from putting more germs onto your fresh clothes. I bought the exact ones as shown above and they’re affordable. Even better, you get 10 drawstring shoe bags!!!

Earphone cord wrap

You’re more likely to bring your earphones when you go traveling, after all, who doesn’t listen to music to kill time when waiting in long hours?! It’s annoying when you have to deal with your cord wires getting tangled up when you simply just want to plug them in to be in peace listening to your music. These cord organizers are the most useful thing made on this planet because it will save you from that struggle.

Laundry bag

Having to separate dirty clothes from cleaner clothes is a must!! Sometimes if you’re not staying at a hotel, you won’t be offered those plastic laundry bags that they will offer. Bringing one on your own is smart. It’s also a great reminder to tell you which clothing item is dirty and which one is not.

Insulated water bottle

No matter what place you’re traveling to, a cold place with snow or to a tropical, humid place with sunshine and palm trees, water bottles are definitely essential. These water bottles, insulated to specific, are made for keeping warm drinks hot for hours and cold drinks cold for hours. You can automatically quench your thirst with this or to keep coffee inside to make sure you stay awake through your trip.

Travel tubes/bottles with bag

If you want to bring your own shampoo and conditioner but hate carrying them in their large sized containers, you need to invest in these. These are travel size tubes/bottles. You can fill them in with sunscreen, lotion, shampoo, and soap. The good thing about the ones that I showed above is that they are already labeled on their bottles, so you don’t have to worry about confusing which one is which. Otherwise, you would have to make your own labels and stick them on. Those also come with their own bag so you can keep them all together.

Toothbrush and toothpaste case

You of course need to store your toothbrush and toothpaste somewhere! So why not take a case with you?! Cases like this will keep your travel sized toothpaste together with your brush, so you can just reach for this and go and you won’t confuse yourself which one is your toothbrush and toothpaste if you leave it in a bathroom shared with a group of people.

Portable charger

I can’t stress enough how important it is to have a portable charger with you at all times when you travel. There’s going to be limited availability of outlets when you go to the airport and I know how much of a PAIN it is to wait for someone to get done charging. Thus, why not bring your own?! This is great for no matter where you’re going and you don’t have to worry about adapters or fear your phone will die any second without an outlet nearby.

TSA approved travel locks

Travel locks are truly essential for traveling. You don’t want to worry about petty thefts trying to open your bag or luggage and grab something before your very own eyes. Keep it safe with travel locks. You can go with one with a travel lock with a key or like the one above with a combination you have to twist around.
